A Glimpse of
The EzineArticles Formula
Over the past several weeks, we've shared with you some of the details of the EzineArticles Formula, including what's contained in this 10-module, 5-week training system and whom it benefits most.
Today, we wanted to give you a glimpse of what you can expect to find inside Module 1 of this comprehensive training system. Here are some of the topics we'll be covering in the very first module:
Article creation
Submitting an article
How many articles you need to write before you see results
Resubmitting your article for approval
As you can see, we're covering some great topics right away. Let's focus in on the last bullet point. Since EzineArticles.com holds our authors to strict Editorial Guidelines, you might find yourself in a position where you have to make corrections on an article in order to get it approved. One key way to prevent this from happening to you is to check your articles over before submitting.
We cover this more in depth in The EzineArticles Formula, but here are 3 things to be conscious of when constructing and proofreading your articles:
Deliver on Your Article Title - Make sure the content in the body of your article matches your article title. For example, if your article title is, "7 Ways to Prepare Lobster", then you need to deliver 7 different ways to prepare lobster in the body of your article. This will go a long way in helping you gain the trust of your reader. Giving anything less than 7 ways will frustrate readers.
Limit Referenced Material - The majority of what you write should come from you. You'll build credibility and loyalty with your readers much faster by sharing your own personal tips, techniques and analysis. If you include information from other sources, make sure you cite the source of the material. Limit your articles to 5 quoted sections. This will ensure the article is fresh, and it has your personal stamp on it. The best use of referenced material is to support one of your personal viewpoints.
Properly Format Your Articles - This will make the end user experience much more enjoyable for your readers. Here are some ways to do that:
Use paragraphs to break up large chunks of text.
Use basic HTML to create visually pleasing lists to break up the text.
Make sure all end-of-sentence punctuation has exactly one space after it, whether it's a period, exclamation point or question mark.
The EzineArticles Formula is loaded with great tips and information that will help you get started, and/or bring your article writing & marketing results to new heights of traffic.
